Within the enquiries, event bookings, accommodation bookings and supplier bookings modules you are able to clone previous bookings and generate new reference numbers/bookings, to avoid having to re-key previous details.
To clone an enquiry, open the module (enquiry, event, accommodation or supplier) in which the booking you would like to clone is within, select the reference number of the booking you wish to clone (load the booking) and click clone.
Within the enquiry module, a pop-up box will open, in here you are able to select/deselect the fields you would like to be included in the new booking. Once selected, press submit.
Within the event bookings, accommodation bookings or supplier bookings module, when you click on ‘clone’, a pop-up box will open, this is slightly different to cloning within the enquiries module. It allows you to create a new booking reference number or add to the current booking reference number, however, this will appear as /2, /3, /4, etc at the end of the number.
Note: there is a jobs & projects module within GRATIS, where you can group together bookings under one job number, by cloning to a new reservation this will create a new job. Cloning to the current reservation with use the same/current job number.
Once new or current is selected, you then have the option to select/deselect the fields you would like to be included in the new or current booking. Once selected, press submit.
A new enquiry/event booking/accommodation booking/supplier booking reference number will then be generated and the enquiry will contain all of the fields selected from the previous booking. You can now action the enquiry/event booking/accommodation booking/supplier booking process as required.
