How to set a venue or venue groups status as preferred

Within GRATIS it is possible to set venues and/or venue groups to have a 'preferred status'.

Setting a preferred status means that the venue or venue group will appear at the top of the list when the agent is using the venue search functions.

To set a venue or venue group with a 'preferred status' please follow the instructions below.

This is where you set your AGENCY preferred group and venue rankings.

Please note that where you have pre-set Client preferred group and venue rankings these will override your agency ones

Search for the required venue group from the left-hand window or an individual venue from the right-hand window

When the system has found the requested group/venue select it from the dropdown menu

Select the 'level' that you wish to apply to the venue from the dropdown list, choose a rank from 1-10. The lowest number being ranked the highest that the venue will appear in the search results

Select the validity of the arrangement entering the termination date and then choosing by enquiry or by arrival date to determine which bookings should be included.

Enter any additional information that you wish your consultants to be aware of into the notes section.

To confirm and add the preferred venue or venue group to the list click once on the ADD command button to the right, and then repeat the process or close off by clicking on the Green save button at the top of the page.

How to set a venue or venue groups status as preferred against a specific client

It is possible that certain clients will prefer to use specific venues and that certain clients might not want to use specific venues.

Within GRATIS it is possible to set a preferred status against a venue or venue group.

To set this at the client level follow the above instructions but instead of setting this globally in 'Office Preferences' you will need to browse to the specific client record in the client module as below.
