Status Report (Enhanced)

Modified on Tue, 1 Jul at 2:55 PM

The Status Report (Enhanced) is similar to the standard Status Report, with added features for more granular filtering and reporting. This enhanced version allows you to filter by individual booking statuses and event types, providing more flexibility in your analysis.

Key Features

  • Status Filtering: You can filter by All, None, or select individual statuses for more specific reporting.
  • Event Type Filter: In addition to status filtering, you have the option to filter bookings by Event Type.
  • Green Accredited Venues: The report includes a column that identifies venues that are Green Accredited.
  • CSV Export: When exporting to CSV, the Status Report (Enhanced) provides additional data, giving you more detailed information compared to the standard report.

Additional Columns in CSV Export

When exporting the report to CSV format, you will see the following additional column headers:

  • Green Accredited Venues: Identifies whether a venue is Green Accredited.
  • Number of 24 Hours: Displays the information added to the Number of 24 hours field in the General tab of bookings.

Note: The Room Nights column will show data based on the Number of 24 Hours field. This report does not pull data from the charges table for the Room Nights column, as the charges are constantly changing and depend on the status of each booking.

Using the Report

The Status Report (Enhanced) is ideal for getting a quick overview of booking statuses and related data. It offers a more detailed and flexible view than the standard Status Report, with the added benefit of exporting richer data to CSV for further analysis.

Note:

The reporting system is intentionally designed to display all bookings - both past and future - under the current account manager assigned to the client profile. This approach ensures that when an account manager transition occurs, the new account manager has full visibility of every booking associated with the client, regardless of when those bookings were originally made or who managed them at the time of confirmation.

This design is particularly important for business continuity and ongoing account management. If reports were to show bookings only under the account manager who was responsible at the time of booking, there is a risk that the new account manager would not see all active or historical bookings. This could lead to missed opportunities, incomplete business reviews, and gaps in client service.

By always reflecting the current account manager in reports, we help ensure that transitions are seamless and that the new account manager can effectively manage all aspects of the client relationship without missing any critical information. This also removes the need for manual updates to individual bookings, which is locked to maintain data integrity.

We understand that different organisations may have varying preferences, but this reporting logic is in place to support smooth transitions and comprehensive oversight for account managers.
