Setting Venue/Group or Ownership Commission Rate Agreements In GRATIS

Some venues and groups will provide commission rates that are different from the default commission rates that you have entered into the fees section under company preferences.

To set commission rates against a specific venue or group, please follow the steps below;

  • Browse to the Venues module

  • Within the Venues Module - Click into the Select Venue field and start to type the name of the venue you would like to add the commission rates to (or a venue within the group you would like to add the commission rates too).  Select the venue from the drop-down options, by clicking on it

  • Once the venue is selected, click on the Agent tab and scroll down to Commission Rates

Within the Commission Rates you can:

Add Default Commission Rates (this will remain the default commission until changed)

  • To apply the commission rate, type the rate in the first field (i.e 15) and then select if the commission is paid on the VAT inclusive or VAT exclusive rates.  Then click the green save button under the completed fields.
  • You can apply commission rates to a specific venue, all venues within the group or all venues within the ownership, to do this, you would put the rates under the venue, group or ownership and follow the above instructions.
  • You must add a Commission Calc as per the screenshot below. Once this has been selected you will be able to save this

Add A Special Commission Rate

  • To add the special commission rate, type the rate into the rate field (i.e 20).  Then select if the commission is paid on the VAT inclusive or VAT exclusive rates.
  • You then need to select the start date and finish date of the special commission rate, click on the calendar, select the start date and then the finish date.

  • Select the type, if the date is to match the arrival date or booking date.
  • The special offer may be applied to bookings arrival within the date range set or booked within the date range set.

  • The rates offered can also be applied to a minimum number of delegates, if this is part of the special rate agreement, you can put the minimum number of delegates within this field;

  • Click on the green SAVE button under the completed fields.
  • If entered the default rate will remain, however, the special rate will be applied to enquiries and bookings that take place within the date range set, within the enquiry and event booking modules.

Commission Negotiated –

If in a venue listing there hasn't been the addition of a specific commission rate, the default commission (loaded in Company Preferences > Fees tab) will apply for enquiries loaded for that venue.
