The new Top Responder tag recognises venues that consistently provide timely, high‑quality responses to RFPs. It helps planners quickly spot venues likely to reply promptly and thoroughly, while rewarding strong supplier performance.

Where the badge appears
The badge appears across Venue Directory (VDC), My Events Portal (MEP), and GRATIS, and is visible to all planners on these platforms.
The program is not region-specific; the same criteria and calculation logic apply globally.
Who qualifies and how it’s calculated
To earn the Top Responder tag, a venue must meet all of the following:
Maintain a response rate of at least 90% with a maximum decline rate of 50% of responded RFPs over the last 3 months.
Maintain an on‑time response rate of at least 90% over the last 3 months.
Have more than 10 RFPs in the last 12 months.
How it’s calculated:
Scores are calculated monthly using data from the previous 3 full months.
Only active venues with at least one non‑cancelled RFP in the last 12 months are included in tracking.
Cost and availability
The Top Responder tag cannot be purchased; it is awarded based on performance.
While scores are calculated for all venues, the badge is displayed only on venues with an Enhanced Listing.
Planner experience and search
The Top Responder badge is visible to all planners across Venuedirectory.com, MyEventsPortal, and GRATIS.
The badge does not affect the sort order of search results.
Filtering by Top Responder is not included in the initial release and may be considered in the future.
Updates, notifications, and reporting
Eligibility is reviewed monthly. Venues receive an email if they qualify for—or lose—the badge.
There is no new report for this tag; venues can view their status and performance metrics in existing dashboards and reports.
How to earn or keep the badge
Focus on these actions over the coming months:
Achieve a response rate of 90% or higher, with declines no more than 50% of the RFPs you respond to.
Maintain an on‑time response rate of at least 90%.
Ensure you receive more than 10 RFPs over the last 12 months.
Once your venue meets the thresholds, the badge will be applied in the next monthly review cycle.
Why these criteria?
The thresholds are based on system averages to ensure the badge reflects consistent, high‑quality response behaviour and motivates continued improvement.
