Client Portal - Calendar View - Importing to Outlook and Google mail

It is now possible to export your event calendar feed from myeventsportal.com and to import it into various versions of Outlook and Google Calendar.


The below instructions detail how to import in the most common versions of Outlook along with how to import into Google calendar


Before you are able to import the calendar feed you need to generate the calendar feed URL, please follow these instructions:


Exporting the calendar feed URL from myeventsportal.com


  1. Log in to myeventsportal.com using your username and password.
  2. Within the 'My Enquiries ' page under 'All Enquiries' press the calendar button
  3. Under 'Filter Options' click the 'Export Calendar Feed' button
  4. Specify the calendar feed time frame using the slider 
  5. Press 'Copy to clipboard'
  6. You are now ready to import the URL into your chosen calendar.






Setup a calendar event feed into Outlook 2007

  1. Generate calendar feed URL using www.myvenueportal.com
  2. Open the Outlook 2007 program and click on the Tools -> Account Settings menu
  3. Go to the Internet Calendars tab and click on New
  4. Paste the calendar link into the box for the location of the Internet Calendar and click on the Add button
  5. Confirm or edit the Folder Name and other options and click on the OK button.
  6. Click on the Close button.  Go to Mail view and click on Send/Receive which will connect and download the calendar entries to your computer. Click on Calendars -> Other Calendars and check on the box next to the internet calendar you just created.  Your calendar events will then appear in your calendar view.


Set up a calendar event feed into Outlook 2010

  1. Open up your Outlook 2010 calendar -> click the Home tab on the Ribbon -> Under Manage Calendars click on Open Calendar -> From Internet…
  2. Next, click on the Subscribe
  3. Generate calendar feed URL using www.myvenueportal.com
  4. Paste the link into the New Internet Calendar field then click OK
  5. Click [Yes] to the dialogue box that comes up verifying you want to subscribe to it.


Set up a calendar event feed into Outlook 2016

  1. Go to Outlook 2016 > Go to the Calendar
  2. Next, go to the Home Tab in Outlook 2016 and click the "Open Calendar" dropdown.  Select "From Internet" 
  3. Paste your calendar feed URL into the field.  Click OK.
  4. Click "Yes" that you want to add this calendar to outlook and subscribe to updates. 
  5. You can view your calendar side by side or in "overlay mode" via View Tab > Click "Overlay Mode"


Set up a calendar feed into Outlook 365 

  1. Go to Outlook, go to the calendar > click "Add Calendar" > select "From Internet"
  2. Paste your calendar feed URL into the URL field >  Click Add
  3. In the Folder Name box, type the name of the calendar as you want it to appear in Outlook, and then click OK.
  4. When you start Outlook, it checks the internet calendar for updates and downloads any changes. Anytime you refresh your calendars or inbox in Outlook, the calendar will send the most up-to-date version of your event calendar


Set up a calendar feed into Outlook Web App

  1. Login to your outlook.com account
  2. Go to the Calendar App
  3. Go to Import > select Subscribe
  4. Paste your calendar feed URL into the "Calendar URL" field.  Name your calendar.
  5. Click Subscribe Button
  6. Events will appear in your outlook.com calendar.


Set up a calendar feed into Google Calendar


  1.  Open your Google calendar and select the settings menu from the cog icon in the top right
  2.  When the settings page opens select Add calendar from the list on the left-hand side of the page, now select 'From URL'
  3. Paste the calendar feed URL into the 'URL of calendar box and click add calendar.
  4. The calendar events will not appear in your Google Calendar
