GRATIS allows users to customise the default headings and text that appear in documents generated for all clients. This guide explains where and how to update these titles and default texts.

1. Accessing Default Text Settings
- Go to Office Preferences.
- Navigate to the Options tab.
- Scroll down to the Default Text tab.
2. Customising Proposal Text and Titles
Proposal Welcome Text
- This field controls the text displayed at the top of your proposal document, just below the client and contact details.
Editable Document Titles
You can change the following document titles. If any field is left blank, the system will use the default title:
- Venue Option Document Title
- Option Document Title
- Amended Document Title
- Published Rate Title
- Negotiated Rate Title
3. Room Details Text
- Default Main Room Details and Default Syndicate Room Details: The text entered here will appear in the Room Allocation Manager section when conference rooms are added to enquiries and bookings.
4. Delegate Package Details
- Default Day Delegates Details and Default 24 Hour Delegates Details: Use these fields to add default text asking venues to describe what’s included in the day delegate or 24-hour delegate packages.
5. Event, Accommodation, and Supplier Document Text
- Default Event Text Tab: Update the titles for fields shown in this area; these will appear in Event Bookings documents.
- Default Accommodation Text: Change the titles for fields that will be used in Accommodation Bookings documents.
- Default Supplier Text: Change the titles for fields that will be used in Supplier Bookings documents.
Note:
If any of these fields are left blank, GRATIS will display the system default titles or text in the generated documents.
